This is a company profile for a premium durian exporter, targeted at overseas distributors, consumers, government bodies etc. China, Taiwan and Hong Kong are not familiar with frozen whole durians, and this new Malaysian product naturally elicits curiosity among consumers and distributors. In order to salve the curiosity, coupled with the fact that the space was limited, the company profile had to be well thought out, succinct and persuasive. The copywriting rightfully focuses on the freezing and preservation methods, hygienic treatment and vacuum packaging, all processes of which are regulated under professional certification standards and endorsed by the national agricultural authority, to give the assurance that Malaysian frozen durians keep the original taste and are safe to eat! For the most desirous text and photos, both the copywriter and photographer visited the durian processing plant in Pahang to get a first-hand experience on the professional treatment of frozen whole durians. The factory visit was a necessary step in copywriting, in that it made the write-up more realistic and absolutely tailor-made, with the ultimate aim of getting people to buy and enjoy frozen whole durians with complete peace of mind. ‘iLahui’, an overseas brand originated from a Korean fashion department store concept, boasts of highly diversified and inexpensive products targeted mainly at fashionable ladies. We were commissioned to write a company profile specifically for shopping mall management, with the primary objective of getting into popular malls. What do mall management want to see?
